Grade Dispute Information

Grade disputes are challenges to recorded grades. Tri-C has adopted a grade dispute procedure to ensure that academic evaluation is performed fairly and professionally. Faculty members have chief responsibility for academic evaluation. Students are responsible for maintaining standards of academic performance set by the instructor for each course in which they are enrolled. Assistance with the grade dispute process is available through the academic deans at each campus. Grade disputes must be filed by the student no later than 60 days after the disputed grade is recorded. The grade dispute procedure is available online at and on page 31 of this handbook.
