30 Credit Hour Standard Program

The 30 Credit Hour Standard Program provides a tuition waiver for summer sessions when students achieve 30 credits within the academic year. The waiver is 50% of the cost of tuition up to 12 credits.

New or transfer students with fewer than 12 college credits who begin in the fall semester must meet the following eligibility requirements:

  • Complete at least 30 credit hours in a three-semester (fall, spring and summer) academic year

  • Maintain consecutive enrollment each semester throughout the year, including the summer term

  • Earn a satisfactory grade for pass/fail classes or a grade of “C” or higher for all graded classes

  • Declare or reaffirm a program of academic study

  • Accumulate fewer than 90 credits

  • Complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at fafsa.gov

  • Maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher

  • Sign a 30 Credit Hour Standard Program Agreement Form
